We had a great stay at Alma San Diego Downtown! The location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, which really made a difference. Our room was comfortable, well-designed, and quiet, making it easy to relax after a long day out. First night we had to call front desk because TV was not working properly, after the third time engineering came up and telling us that it’s a glitch because tvs are cheap they have to install a sub par item to get tv viewing. They move us to a different room that night. Small lobby, no concession shop for snacks. Homeless people all over the downtown area. We didn’t feel safe to go out at night, area is full of homeless people and a lot of individuals seems like on drugs. Although they didn’t bother us we didn’t take the chance. A lot of transportation available. A lot of places to eat around the hotel. You might have to walk a bit but anything you want to eat, you’ll find it.

I will definitely be coming back this hotel was beautiful inside and out plenty of restaurants,bars, and even clubs everything shuts down at 2:00 am which is plenty of time to go out have fun and then come back to a beautiful quiet room for much deserved sleep
