"Great place to stay"

"Looks like a weird location tucked right beside the freeway, but just a couple of minutes walk to Little Italy, so an excellent location overall. Nice views of the city, particularly from the top floor. I walked everywhere: Balboa Park, Little Italy, the waterfront. Easy Uber/Lyft from the airport. My top floor room was spacious and comfortable."

"The only nice thing about this hotel is the room. There is no bar, bottled water, cleaning of room until departure, uninformed front desk attendees, absolutely zero amenities. Expedia’s current 8.6 ranking of this hotel is beyond super generous. Never again."

"The hotel was very clean. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was security and a few others who kept staring at me with no acknowledgement, or greeting, which was awkward. The front desk staff was helpful and kind they made the stay enjoyable. I ordered room service and asked for gluten free bread and they gave me regular which caused a slight reaction. I only ate one bite and noticed it wasn’t safe to eat so no major reaction. Fantastic hot tube and pool area. It was clean and easy to find. The sheets were a little stained. It would be better to let food deliveries come to my door instead of going to the front desk. It’s a great hotel but be aware of the surrounding areas and the next few blocks. There were several unhoused people and one was naked but I didn’t feel unsafe and there’s nothing the hotel can do since they’re well away from the property. Just be aware."

"The building is beautiful. The room while small was nice, clean, and comfortable. There is a small kitchenette with utensils and plates. It was so convenient. The staff was incredible! If you don't know where to eat, ask them. They have great recommendations. Also, I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste. I called the front desk and within MINUTES one of the staff members was knocking on my door with both. Lastly, please, DO NOT miss going to the rooftop. The view is lovely. I worked there for almost an entire afternoon in beautiful April weather. It was so nice! I had a great experience in this hotel."
