"We were a family of three travelling through California and the place did not meet any of our expectations. First of all the staff were quite rude including the property manager. They have a sign up saying that breakfast will be served from 7 am to 10 am. When we asked to stay for 5 minutes earlier in the lobby until the breakfast was prepared, they refused us. Outside was cold and we could not stay outside for long. I don't think 5 minutes waiting in the lobby would have hurt the hotel...

"This kids and I were on our way back home from our road trip and were stopping in Santa Cruz for the night. The arrival and check in was fast and easy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hotel was in a great location and a short walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants. It was perfect for my kids and I short stay. The hotel also has a guest laundry room on site where you can do a couple loads of laundry if needed. I love getting back home and not have to do laundry so this was a...

"This is a lovely hotel but… the cleaners took a bag from the room. It was full of sweets and other items that clearly weren’t rubbish. It was no where near the bin. I think it was a mistake but a very annoying one. The reason I’m annoyed is the at the desk staff said they’d investigate and get back to me. I didn’t expect them to recover the items but they didn’t bother to follow up with me as they said th why would, that’s annoying mistakes happen but it’s all about the recovery."

"Staff was excellent and welcoming. Rooms were clean and well-equipped. I was not happy with the fitness center--not as clean or well-equipped as I would expect. Hot tub was dirty and towels were scarce. Breakfast was the same as always. In general, a good stay."

"So basically this is a motel they charge about 3 to 500 depending on season and the bed was OK shower was medium towels looked pretty used. I would give it a six out of 10 at the best three out of five basically a side of the road motel nothing special good location."
