"This is beautiful place with huge spaces in common areas. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any matter. The breakfast has a good selection, fresh and tasty for a fair price: 13 euros per person. The location is not in the center area but there is a good local bus service that takes around 15 minutes to reach the most tourist places. We have a positive impression for this hotel."

"We were most impressed by the hotel, staff and facilities. Sunday night local restaurants were closed including the hotel restaurant so the bar was swamped. The staff did a good job but they were overwhelmed. Suggest you open the restaurant or extend the eating area in the bar on Sunday and put on more staff. To save on plastic and card packaging suggest you do not put plastic combs and razors in the room but put a sign saying toiletry items are available on request."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Casa del Poeta. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is ideal, a 7-8 minute walk to the royal palace and Cathedral and close to several excellent restaurants. The hotel service is impeccable and we particularly appreciated Jose's restaurant recommendations and his help booking reservations for dinner and a flamenco show. "What a lovely hotel. Beautiful rooms and baths- we give the overhead shower a 10 out of 10. The staff is so helpful and the rooftop restaurant is a beautiful spot for views and drinks. The location is excellent with walkability to the Palace and Cathedral and a fabulous set of bars and restaurants nearby in plaza Alfalfa. Loved this hotel!"
