"I really don't dole out 1-star reviews lightly, but this is not a real business and you should stay away. I'm half convinced it's a complete scam. We made a reservation for three nights, got a confirmation, and paid. We even got the hotel's message through Expedia stating the check-in information and asking if we wanted to reserve early check-in, etc. When we showed up to check in on Thursday, the desk told us that they were all booked up and not honoring reservations due to a "maintenance issue." No contact about it in advance, no notes about this on their booking pages, nothing. Just a desk worker telling us our reservation was canceled when we walked in with our luggage and our toddler. He showed me an iPad screen where he clicked "cancel with refund" and assured me I would get an email with a full refund. I've received no such email and it's been several days. We now have to jump through a lot of hoops to get our $245 back when we never were even permitted to check in. Expedia has had trouble contacting the property and I think we're going to have to get G6 management involved directly. We scrambled to find another hotel, which the desk worker unhelpfully told us it'd be hard to do because "it's a weekend" when we asked for his suggestions. (If only we'd thought ahead and made a reservation!) Again, stay away."

"It's a cheap motel. The desk lady was nice, the AC worked, there was hot water, the bed was clean and soft. The shower curtain rod was sagging a little and none of the walls/tile etc looked like they'd been maintained recently, but we weren't expecting luxury! The only big complaint we had was that there were seemingly ALWAYS emergency vehicles outside the hotel, which didn't make us feel safe and flashed a lot of lights into our room. The location is really good for getting to things around Rochester."

"Start with a positive. The staff was nice and did their best. The room was a tragedy. Hairs on the bed when we checked in mold everywhere in the bathroom dirt just filth and the entire room smelled of old cigarette smoke that would not go away we even bought a can of Lysol and tried. It is clear no one cares about appearance. The floors were filthy in the room and the rugs throughout the hotel were stained and also disgusting. It doesn't cost much to at least clean a place even if you don't want to overhaul it. If you're thinking about staying there you've been warned."

"I arrived at the hotel and they said they could not check me in because their system was down. I spent two hours online trying to find another place to stay and the cheapest place was $400 which is way above my budget. I ended up driving 30 miles away to stay at an old roadside motel, which has not been upgraded in at least 50 years except for a flatscreen TV. Needless to say, I am pissed off’"

"The door didn’t lock it was broken ceiling tiles moved in the bathroom exposing pipes paint pealing sink cracked tub nasty stains on the carpet broken furniture over all very dirty smelled of weed and smoke toilet paper wasn’t new left immediately waiting for the refund to come the hallways were dirty elevator broken doors broken to other rooms do not recommend especially for families do not stay here!!"

"Staff was unorganized. The first night I called for a new iron because ours was filthy and part of the ironing surface was broken. It never came. Had to recall in the morning, which ran me late to my event. The toilet seat was loose and I nearly fell every time I sat down. There was no hand soap. The closet is made for men’s clothing. The shelves and bars are very low and I couldn’t hang my dresses. We never got service to our room. Someone came by very late afternoon with a checklist of sorts… finally brought replacement towels, tissues and bar soap for our hands. The facility desperately needs a remodel. Rooms are not cozy. It was very busy. The only positive thing I could say is the bed was pretty comfy. Probably would not stay here again."
