"We recently stayed at the Novotel Hotel Edinburgh Park while celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary, and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is very pleasant and well-situated, making it easy to locate. After arriving at Edinburgh Waverly, I hopped on the next train to Edinburgh Park, and upon exiting the station, I spotted the mall across the road. "We arrived here at the DoubleTree after a looooong hard drive from Skye to Edinburgh though some torrential storms. We were upgraded, given a yummy chocolate chip cookie, and reservations for the restaurant were made for us immediately. Couldn't ask for a better reception. The restaurant was very good, but expect to pay airport prices. The bed was comfy and the room was well appointed. The terminal is a ten minute walk from the front door and the rental car return is across the street which...
