"Donya, at the front desk, was so helpful in getting a room booked as a surprise for my relatives. They said it was a very nice place and were very pleased with getting a requested room near an entrance."
"Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean but furniture was very outdated. We got the room for the pool but the pool was toooooo blue and didn’t look safe. Poor lighting in the pool area as well once the sun went down. Overall a 6/10"

"Our 4th stay for an annual race weekend. Rooms get ice cold in July and the owner/staff is so nice. The value is excellent. On the smaller side, and not a “fancy” new hotel, but basic hotel with clean rooms and everything you need; microwave, mini fridge, TV, comfortable beds. Breakfast is Coffee, waffles, bagels and milk. We usually eat breakfast in town. Never an issue with safety and security of our vehicles."
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cape Girardeau I-55 by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"This place was super clean! Only complaint I have, and it's not just this hotel. The pool area smells so strong of chlorine, it burns your eyes, and lungs. Literally. I took my grandsons so we could swim, and couldn't even be in the pool are for more than 10 minutes. Others were in there also complaining it was burning their eyes, and had to wash their eyes out."
