"Room was very small but clean, bed near window felt very damp, as condensation was running down windows! very cold in evening central heating just put on for about 3/4 of an hour in late evening!! Had to get into bed to keep warm!! Breakfast was the best thing about our stay, it was freshly cooked by hostess and hot! "

"We booked to stay for the weekend in December for our anniversary and when we arrived after a two and half hour drive we found the hotel closed apparently for a refit. The hotel have not replied to my email and the phone number is not in use. We had to walk around at 7pm in the wind and rain looking for alternative accommodation which cost a further £100. Hotels.com still have not refunded my money"
