"The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. "On arrival we was greeted with a strong smell of damp. There was a lot of spiders and dead and live wood lice all around the house. The live were taken outside and the dead were sucked up the very doggy smelling vacuum cleaner. The sofa smelt of dogs and the sink had stuck on food remnants and dead wood lice. The only good points were: the bed was comfy and the nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco. Would we recommend and stay again? Unfortunately no."
