"Staff is very friendly. There was a little bit of traffic noise, but the room had a white noise machine that was very helpful. The hotel is very convenient to all the restaurants and shops."

"The Marlo is a nice place to stay overall. The location is great, just short walk distance from the downtown, but away from a busyness of it. The rooms were clean with plenty of space (we stayed at Higge Courtyard room). I'm not sure why there was only a lamp on one of the nightstands but not on the other, so I had to walk in a dark to my side of the bed after turning the light off for the night. The reason for 4 stars is that, unfortunately, the walls between the rooms (not within the suite itself) are not very soundproof, so we could hear our neighbors talking pretty clearly, and I'm sure they were talking in a normal voice not loudly. So if you are a light sleeper or like to go to bed earlier than your neighbors who like to talk late, you might find it a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, no complains, and we'll most likely stay there again, because we loved the relaxed feeling of the Marlo and that it is pet-friendly."

"Hotel is within walking distance to downtown area, which is convenient. The hotel is supposed to be smoke free, but we kept getting cigarette smoke odor in our room. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy. The AC/heater unit is very loud when it's on. The shower pressure is extremely strong, felt like little pin pricks. The bath towels are gross, they are supposed to be white, they are so dingy, they look gray. I'm so glad I always travel with my own towel! Overall I would not stay here again."

"What a cute little motel! Great room. Easy parking. Great room. Good shower. Walking distance to many restaurants. Downsides were only that the bed was a bit hard for me and the hot water kettle cord was very short."
