Right from check in to the entire stay, it was comfortable and hassle free. Location is perfect with beach just walking distance away from the resort. The property was clean with all devices and appliances in very good working condition. The living area of our suite was big and good enough for our little one to play. It was provided with basic food stuff and the fridge had juices,butter,cheese & milk so the immediate need was sorted. Domino and 4 in a row were also provided for kids to play - a thoughtful way of hospitality. We’d definitely book it again when we visit St Ives again. Definitely recommend it to families looking for a relaxing holiday with kids.

The room is spacious and clean, also included bread, oats, yogurt, orange juice and milk for breakfast. However there's a fire alarm in the morning woke us up at 8:30am. We skipped our dinner at a restaurant rushed back to the hotel for the swimming and spa, as the reception told us the swimming pool opens till 8:30pm, but when we reached at 6pm, they told us from 6:30pm only available for 16+, my son is 13, so they offer us hot tub, we got change and went back to the reception after half an hour, waited for some time then they told us they don't have the key for the green house so cannot offer the hot tub. We booked 2 nights of the hotel because my son wanted to swim, very disappointed.

The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. In addition, plants inside living room or dining room were dying without proper attention.

The hotel has undergone a total renovation since my last visit some years ago. The suites are spacious, very comfortable and well equipped to a high standard. The grounds are well tended. All the staff I met were extremely kind and professional, going the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is excellent with views across the bay from some suites. The beaches and town are a short, traffic free walk away - steep, but well maintained tarmac paths. The complimentary pool and spa facilities are a few minutes drive away, but were also of an excellent standard. I will definitely be returning.

Upon arrival the building looks tremendous and the grounds are well kept and tidy. Check-in was slightly clunky and took a while, however the staff are very personable and helpful. The Apartment was number 8 in the main building, the Grand Suite and was nicely decorated with all the modern appliances you need. Stunning views of the beaches from the lounge / kitchen area. Bathrooms were nicely done with a modern twist to them and a modern contemporary look. The bed wasn’t great as it seemed to have a big void/dip in the middle which made my wife and I tend to lay awkwardly and roll to the middle of the bed; maybe needs addressing, we both left with sore backs. Despite this , all in all a great place to stay, excellent location and lovely staff, however there is a couple of but’s … Noise from footsteps in the room above was very loud at times, especially when children are staying. I did complain a couple of times and the staff did have a word with the occupants above as there children were very active shall we say! Also the occupants above were putting the washing machine on at 11pm before bed, which didn’t do us any favours as you can hear it in the bedroom below quite loudly! I do think a lot of this noise can be contributed to the construction of the building as there is no soundproofing g at all. During our stay it was fantastic whether 25-30 degrees on most days. There’s no air-con in the apartments, made it unbearable to sleep , even with fans provided.

Note the Expedia advert pictures are misleading - the swimming pools and spa are not onsite, 45 min walk / 5 min drive - does state it in the small print.
