"Staff were excellent in all areas. Great dinner in the evening, but unfortunately breakfast was poor as food had not been freshly cooked as was only warm. "
"We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that. "
"The hotel was in great location, right in the sea front. Walkable distance to the station, shops, Pier and Theatres. The staff were friendly and the check in was quick and easy "
"We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the bed was very big and comfortable, the service was great and the staff very sweet and friendly. Our room had a beautiful sea view, definitely worth the extra pennies. It’s a bit of a shame that the road just below is quite busy and noisy throughout the day. Nevertheless, it was great to be so close to the sea, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way."

Excellent
St Leonards is my old home town, ive not visited much in 30 something years. It was nice to revisit old haunts and to soak up a bit of the bohemian vibe that the place has, especially Kings Road and the seafront.

Hastings is livelier but St Leonard's is quieter and offers free parking.
