"Big Spring, Tx has become a destination for us because of this hotel--we'll find any excuse to go through Big Spring so we can stay at the Hotel Settles. First of all...it is beautiful--restored to her 1930's glory about 12 years ago. The lobby is adorned with beautiful art, an unbelievable staircase and period furniture--it is simply gorgeous. The staff are so friendly and my check-in and check-out experiences were awesome. The room was squeaky clean, the beds and bedding were top-notch and our room looked out over the Big Spring area. We never venture further than the hotel restaurant for meals because it is so dang good. For supper, we had the salmon and the chicken fried steak--both delicious. I have to shout out the chef for my collard greens--lordy they were good. The pool and hot tub area are beautiful and very relaxing. If you are in the Big Spring area--make an excuse to go there and treat youself to an overnight stay at Hotel Settles. "
