We were in a ‘family room’ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all. "Arrived at the hotel, which to their credit allowed us to check in early as we had to get to a wedding before their usual check-in time. "The staff were some of the best we have ever met and met our needs perfectly. They ensured we had a room that was suitable and went the extra mile to achieve this so a big thank you. The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...

"Gorgeous room and premises ... immaculately clean... hosts were just lovely... would highly recommend... all little things thought of and my dairy alkergy accommodated even had a small flask of oat milk for the room ... amazing breakfast not just taste but presentation also... it would be hard to beat... Fab location in proximity to the Shopping outley which us walkable and also The Blacksmiths at Gretna Green for weddings ... Thanks for a great stay xx"
