"I have to say the whole place excelled. Our room was lovely and the estate was beautifully kept. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The service was the best - attentive and provided with a smile. The cherry on the cake were the wild owls in the tree outside reception. Brilliant. Many thanks we had a lovely time."

We were celebrating our honeymoon and were so thoughtfully treated to a room upgrade, a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and so many other lovely little touches throughout our stay. It truly made...

"Beautiful property, horrible location - near district 6. When we checked in we had a drink at the bar to wait for our room. One of the hotel managers (in a blue sport coat) came over and went on a 30 minute rant about how unsafe Capetown was - and how unsafe the area around the hotel was and that we shouldn't walk around after dark.
