"We reserved a bungalow and ended up requesting a room change due to rodant droppings on our bed after our first night. Once we were transferred to another room the hot water was not functioning and had to wait until the morning for maintenance to replace. The pool and the jacuzzi were not clean and we choose not to get in. We stayed a total of 8 days and 7 nights and did enjoy a cool room because the a/c functioned excellent. The housekeeping was also exceptional cleaning our room on a daily...

"My husband and I are in love with this resort. Everything about this resort is perfect. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and a cold towel upon arrival. The lobby is open air, minimalist, tastefully decorated and clean. Actually, the entire resort is very clean. There is always someone cleaning or minding the plants in the common areas. We decided to stay here to celebrate our 43rd anniversary and this resort did not disappoint. They celebrated our anniversary every night after...

"Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep...

"The experience was amazing and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was we booked the king size bed suite and when we got there we were given the double bed suite instead . We paid for the king size bed room but we got a cheaper room instead so we lost money . Also the small room didn’t have a microwave and that’s one of the main reasons we got the king room . But after 2 days the staff were able to get a microwave in the smaller room . Overall great place to stay except for that one...

"The reef 28 was an excellent choice to stay in Playa De Carmen. The only drawback we had Pool access was under construction, but there accommodating by upgrading us to breakfast at the Hotel. We enjoy the amenities at the hotel and the walking distance to Quinta Avenida to all shops and restaurants. We will be traveling back again later this year in 2026..! Viva Mexico 🇲🇽"
