"I never write reviews, but felt I had to for my stay at Wyndham Tamarindo. The staff is not properly trained to provide customer service in the hospitality industry. There is no gym on the premises, you will need to take a shuttle or walk to The Langosta Beach Club to use their gym. The water kept running out. We had to quickly take showers to ensure we did not run out of water. The TV only worked with 2 remotes. One remote was for the volume and the other to change the channels. They also ran out towels. We had to use pool towels. There were also bugs in the bed. I will say that the aesthetic of the hotel was nice, but the service was subpar. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Nahua and plan to be back soon! I stayed in the monkey suite and I highly recommend it as long as you can handle some steps. I am a woman traveling alone and I felt very safe and had almost total privacy. It’s very close to the action so it’s a little loud at night, but I really enjoyed hearing the live music from my patio. There are some great places to eat and drink nearby and a grocery store pretty much next door, and I LOVED the howler monkeys in the trees on the property! I’ll be back!"

"Maggie is such a cool woman, she welcome us with such enthusiasm knowing its our first time to visit Costa Rica. The property is centrally located and the Breakfast,if you include, is well portioned and delicious. The Staff here is the real Gem of this place. Each and everyone of them are so accomodating and attentive. Will definitely recoomend and stay again. "

"While the room was very nice and the property was clean, the way the place is run is absolutely ridiculous. Arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon only to see a sign on the office door (locked) that no one is there until check in time. We called the number and waited 30 minutes in sweltering heat. The bar was closed and people were spraying paint so it was really unpleasant. No restaurant despite it being listed as an amenity. Silly excuse given. Asked to speak to owner and I was told he would be there in a few minutes. 2 hours later, when we were out, we received a text that he was there. Never tried to talk to us while we were there. Great property, awful owner. Would not stay there again. "
