"I need a review for Hotel Football. It's easy to find, minutes from the tram stop. Check in was quick and easy. The room was super clean with a modern feel. Vimto in the fridge was the best surprise ever. Really enjoyed our stay. I did leave some items in the wardrobe which I realised on the train home. "Booked a king room executive for £199.00 over 6 months in advance. On check in at 2 pm they told me I had been downgraded to the same room, but one floor lower and the rate had been reduced £20.00. No problem. On arriving at room it had only a double bed. Not happy. Told hotel was sold out. Only solution was to refund my stay and I could go elsewhere. On a night the city is sold out. Deal agent claimed she did not know the hotels in area all sold out. Laughable. Complained to duty...

"Great hotel exactly what we wanted for a one night stay after a long day at our daughter's cheer comp, breakfast was sooo good and staff friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a double room with a pull out sofa bed for the kids we all slept well, great hotel and fab location, was only a 15 min drive from Manchester Central."

"The room was comfortable and well equipped. Very comfortable bed and on this hot night the air con was great. The lift was not working which might have been an issue but not for us. Katie and the other receptionist were very helpful and friendly. Good stay and value for money."
