"Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early...

"Had a lovely one night stay in cottage 3. Room was clean and quite with lovely views. Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect. Will definitely stay again."

"This was our first stay here and will definitely be back when we next need to visit our friend. Doggy friendly Hacker had a lovely time. We were in Loganberry twin everything spotless. The room was hot but we are in a heat wave and they provide a fan which we made full use of! Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. The beds were super comfortable our two night stay was excellent -see you again The Swan!"

"Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning. Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent. They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful."

"Arrived after a 200 mile motorbike ride round Snowdonia, hot and tired, Liz welcomed us, sorted roo s which wete ready. Had cold beers on a table before we had unloaded, that's service. "Arrived and were able to check in an hour earlier, we were shown to our room, and windows had been opened to allow the heat to escape. Amazing views. Room very clean and everything you need, water great selection of teas and coffees, and more importantly a fan. Great quirky pub to enjoy a drink and meal. Very friendly staff and other guests and locals very friendly. Great puppy cuddles with Angus a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again."
