"The hotel was lovely but be forewarned that what the hotel calls a king/double bed room is a European king size which is 64 inches instead of a US king which is 76 inches wide. Hotel was gracious when we pointed it out but we were expecting a US King. Also, as is probably the case in a lot of Venetian hotels, the room was tiny, smallest room I've ever stayed in over my multiple trips to Italy, with little floor space but the bathroom was a lovely size."

"This hotel is on the other side of the canal, and they only allow you to cross without paying during a six-hour window from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After that, you either have to pay a very high amount of money to cross the canal or take a long walk around just to get back to the hotel. Unfortunately for us, we had just gotten off the bus boat with heavy luggage, completely exhausted from our trip, and had to figure all of this out ourselves.
