"I requested a crib, even called 2 hours prior to arrival & was told they have one. Got there, & the man said they didn’t have one available, it was being used. Got to the room & the keys didn’t work. Went back downstairs to get them rekeyed & when the door opened, it was an OCCUPIED ROOM! Went back down & told the same man & he gave us another room. Got to that room, no fridge or microwave. I had breastmilk. Went back downstairs to ask. No fridge available but said he could have one in the morning. I asked what time, he said maintenance guy arrives around 10am so probably 11-12ish. I also asked about a freezer to store my breastmilk in because it has to stay frozen. He stated there was no freezer (not even an employee one). He gave us an extra ice bucket to “help.” Around 1pm the next day, I asked the lady at the front desk when the fridge was coming to our room. She called the man who told us about it (who was cleaning rooms that day???) he lied and said he never told us 11-12. I asked if one was available or not. She asked him on the phone & he said one “just became available but it needed to be cleaned.” At this same time, my boyfriend saw the man on the elevator & asked. He said he was going to get it right then. Not even 5 minutes later, there was a fridge in our room, but all of my breastmilk ruined. A freezer needs to be available! Oh, and there were bugs - one in the bed & one in the bathtub. And stuff got stolen out of the bed of our truck and other people’s trucks."

"Nothing unique about this location, and we have stayed in many LaQuinta hotels in several States. Room was not ready at the check-in time. Ordered a handicap room and would have waited, not sure how long. So, chose another regular room that was not near the elevators. On checkout the new front desk lady did work with us well when I needed to cancel an afmdditional night."

"The staff welcomes you with courtesy and professionalism, Philip the breakfast chef is very polite and helpful and can make the best oatmeal. I do miss the Texas shape waffle maker but the round waffle is good also. Location of hotel is excellent and I feel safe there. It's a great place to stay and that is where I stay when in Corpus Christi. Room was well kept and love that there is a full size fridge and microwave. Thank you very much front office staff for all your help during this stay. It shows you care. Thank you!"
