"Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. It's lovely but its an old building so that reflects in the rooms. Other than being a bit dated, everything that could be clean and well presented was. The sheets were immaculate as well as the towels. The bathroom was a bit dated, but the shower was great! It was really hot over the weekend and the windows don't stay open. A fan was provided so that helped with the heat in the room but it was still very hot in there."

"I booked suite room 251 and unfortunately the air conditioning in the bedroom wasn’t working. This meant I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. There was a fan but no air conditioning. I mentioned this to reception in the morning and they assured me they were aware and that’s why there was a fan. However when I checked in reception hadn’t mentioned this issue. If they had I would have asked for a smaller room with working air conditioning. This wasn’t great service."

Also the air conditioning in the bar/dining area didn't work. Although there was a bar with gin, there was no tonic!!! It was an extremely hot week and the bedrooms were very hot but the fans provided did little to help.1 of the beds in the twin room really needs a new mattress as it was completely sunken in the middle and I would suggest...
