"We love staying at this hotel. The staff are really helpful nothing is too much trouble. The hotel also has some really thoughtful touches like providing rain ponchos for guests heading to shows at the outdoor open air theatre. When we came back from the show we were abit cold so we loved that we could grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the lounge. They are also showing the World Cup at the hotel Cinema. Touches like this make it a really special place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"I was shocked how much space and how great the view was for the price. This is an old mansion. It has creeks on the floors which I found charming, but all the amenities the shower, the bathtub, and the other bathroom the kitchen were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. We only tried one of the two bedrooms in our apartment. We only rented for a night, but felt welcomed and welcome to return. I recommend this property as it was one of the best I have stayed in in the UK."

"Very easy check in very clean rooms had evening meal before going out small menu but very good quality food easy to get back in hotel after coming back when closed Had breakfast the next morning lots of choice with cereals yogurts fruit and more before full cooke breakfast"

"Hotel very clean . Staff helpful. Breakfast brilliant. Only downside to this hotel is not enough parking for the rooms . For one night stay ended up paying £18 for parking car in other car parks"

"I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me....

"The staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, the restaurant didn't open till 6pm, so as we were going out we ordered bar food, which was ok, tasty but nothing special, convenient for us though.again the staff were lovely, We asked to change rooms because of a small problem,it was done without any fuss. It is slowly being renovated and just had lovely New windows in the lounge, some of the rooms need updating and the secret balcony could do with abit of TLC,, but it's a beautiful old building,...
