"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. "This was one of the most charming, beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. Veronika went out of her way to help me get my suitcases up and down the steep stairs, gave me great local advice for food and adventure, and was super professional, polite, and friendly. The view from my room was exceptional. The only drawback was the noise level. I would stay there again. If you stay there, you must eat at Tamam - about a half block from Vranas!"

"I gave it 5 stars foe Agia Roumeli . Elsewhere a 4. Its basic, but very adequate. Short walk from ferry at end of strip of restaurants, hotels and markets. Quiet setting, though the wholw town gets nice and quiet once the 5:30 pm ferry leaves. We stayed in room #10 which had a really nice wrap aroubd balcony and a great view if the beach and sea. Breakfast was good and served at their very nice beach bar. Staff were very helpful. I would recommend. We enjoyed staying there overnight and did not...
