Staff were super nice and helpful when checking in. The room we stayed in was a lot more spacious than most of the hotels in Japan. I also liked how they had a self serve amenities bar where you are able to grab whatever you needed.

Staff. My room had a bad smell from bath room so I mentioned it at the front desk. They were apologetic and asked my permission to enter the room when I was out. While I was out for a few hours they fixed the issue and made my room comfortable. Not many hotel staff are prompt and act quickly

This is probably the most decent hotel in Kichijoji in terms of price and room size. Reasonable and comfortable enough.

This is a great hotel for staying around Kichijoji -- which has a great variety of shopping, restaurants and even a nice park with a large pond -- or even for Tokyo in general as it is only a 10/15-minute train ride from Shinjuku. It is super close to Kichijoji station (like 2 minutes). It's also close to Inokashira Koen (Park). The rooms are clean and quiet, if rather small -- that's standard in Japan. We often stay here and would recommend it.

I love Kichijyouji Tokyu REI hotel. Whenever I visit my parents who live in Mitaka-Shi next station to Kichijoji, I stay at this hotel. It located in couple minutes walking from Kichijyouji station, very safe, and convenient to shop and eat. Everything is near by the hotel.Inokashira park is also walking distance so it is perfect to take a walk, enjoy the nature then eat breakfast or lunch at Cafe around there. All staff are friendly and polite, very helpful. The facility is very clean. I can’t find better place to stay anywhere else.

The room was very small. 2 beds filled the room. Not even space to open our luggage, we had to put the luggage on the beds to open them and set them on the floor to sleep. There's no drawers either. The room was very quiet considering it faced the train station and a major road.

I stayed in a double room that included breakfast. The room was small but functional! There was a luggage rack for your suitcase, a desk with kettle and drinkware, in-room safe, hangars for clothing and housecoats. The bathroom had a hair dryer and your basic toiletries. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones, with an extensive variety of western and Japanese options. The location was perfect for getting around, as it is just up the street from the Kichijoji train station and close to many shops and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

I would like to sincerely thank the staff at Kichijoji REI Hotel for their exceptional care and support during our stay. My daughter experienced food poisoning at 12:30 AM, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us in this stressful situation. They immediately helped us call an ambulance and even translated for us, as I do not speak Japanese. Their kindness and efficiency made a huge difference. Not only that, but they also thoughtfully left a note in our room with useful instructions and followed up on my daughter’s condition the next day. The staff kindly offered to arrange a new room for us as my daughter vomited, which soiled the bedsheets. Although we did not change rooms, they provided fresh bedsheets, which we changed the next morning. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication to guest care truly made a lasting impression. I regret not asking for the staff’s name, but I believe one of them was called Iwasa. I am extremely grateful for their support and highly recommend Kichijoji REI Hotel for their outstanding hospitality.

Hotel staff were excellent, kind and friendly, very helpful at all times and they had English speaking staff members. I love the laundry machines that were available. I suggest making the laundry detergent available in the vending machine in the laundry room for convenience so that the guest doesn’t have to ask for it at the reception.
