"Spent 5 nights at The White Villas with our 2.5year old. The villa itself is a little dated, but it definitely adds to the rustic charm. There are quite a few insects (geckos especially), but you get used to it after a while - besides, you are in Ubud, of course there will be insects everywhere. "Me and my wife had a wonderful experience staying in the villa. You have a own private pool and you dont have any tall building beside the compound so there’s still some privacy. The staff were all very polite and helpful, very good experience staying with them. Cons: Improve the maintenance of the hotel, saw cracks in the bathroom mirror. The tiles at the pool require cleaning Aircon is not cold"

"Room and bathroom were spacious. I liked the water dispenser in the room which also provided instant hot water. Pool area was lovely and we had it to ourselves one afternoon. There is a spa in the hotel, recommend the foot and Balinese massage. Staff were very friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby."

"The apartments are beautiful and in an excellent location. Close to the beach and an amazing array of places to eat and drink, I couldn’t recommend the location highly enough. The pool area is also lovely. Unfortunately there is construction work next door (May 2024) which looks like it may be some time away from finishing. I was disappointed that Expedia did not mention this at the time of booking, as it was very noisy and did impact sitting by the pool. There are also no laundry...

"The staff at Seminyak Icon were so friendly. The communication was clear and via WhatsApp which made it convenient as an international traveller. The location is great as it’s on a quiet street and away from the hustle and bustle yet an easy walk to the Main Street. The villa is spacious and the pool was a great size. "

"The Avery Le Nixsun Villas has great potential to be a five star hotel, however there were some key details that were lacking. There was no minibar, replacement of water bottles, or options for in-room dining service/massages/etc. Our room was also not cleaned on the second day so we were left with plates from breakfast and no fresh towels. This may have been our fault as we decided to spend the morning in the pool and missed the opportunity for this. But there was no follow up when we walked...
