"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property looked exactly like the photos, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy nearby attractions. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. "We had an amazing experience at Nomade. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The food served at their restaurants are all delicious, the drinks are well made. The parh to your room is surrounded by nature, and all very private. The daily yoga is so peaceful, and our favorite experience was definitely the Temazcal ritual! We highly recommend this hotel!"

"Réservée deux nuits mais à cause de la pluie et les sargasses j’ai écourté mon séjour. Les chambres dans les containers sont petites s’il pleut il n’y a pas d’endroit commun pour se réfugier, on se sens donc isolé. Je pense que j’étais seule sur le site! Personnel gentil. Il n’y a pas de safe dans les petites chambres."

"A clean well maintained hotel w excellent food. We stayed here days after staying at another hotel in the hotel zone and had a much better time. The food made up for all the not-so-special tacos/food we ate in Tulum. The tacos and breakfast at Panamera are excellent. We loved hanging out by the pool vibing to the music feeling fancy. It was a good time. The rooms are small but they served their purpose. My only issue was the shower and lack of shelving in the room to place my items. We had to move some things around to accommodate ourselves. The shower didnt have any hot water and after we asked about it with the staff they said the shower handle had to be turned a specific aggressive way to get hot water. I told them it would be helpful to give guests a heads up on that. There is also no fridge in the room which would’ve made the filtered room-temp water given taste even better. Overall we enjoyed staying at Panamera and would come back!"

Playa Canek Beachfront Eco Hotel

"Unfortunately, our 4-night stay at Playa Canek Beachfront Eco Hotel was very disappointing and far below expectations. We understand this is an eco-style property, but many of the issues were related to cleanliness, maintenance, and basic guest comfort — not the eco concept. When we checked in, the suite was extremely hot and muggy. The downstairs area felt dirty, the bedding appeared unclean, and the bathroom was in poor condition. One sink did not work, the other had very low water pressure, and the faucets looked dirty enough that we didn’t want to touch them. The AC in the downstairs bedroom was not functioning, so we had to rely on two fans. The worst experience was our last night, when the AC stopped working completely and the power went out from about 1 AM to 5 AM, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. We also dealt with excessive mosquitoes and were bitten repeatedly during the stay. For the price paid, we expected a much better level of cleanliness, upkeep, and comfort. The property has a beautiful location, but the room conditions and maintenance issues significantly impacted our vacation. Based on our experience, we do not feel the stay delivered the value promised and believe compensation or a partial refund would be appropriate."
