"Very nice where we were"

"The property was in a very good location, less than a 10 min walk to the centre and to the castle (we had come to attend a music event) it was lovely to be so close. The only downside was there was no opening window, it was a sealed unit. The weather is no fault of the owners and though they had provided a fan the room was uncomfortably hot."

"Fast and easy check-in, helpful staff and quick production of a VAT invoice for expenses. The apartment was clean, roomy and comfortable, with a good bed, large TV, well equipped kitchen and great shower too. Parking is very convenient and placed at the back of the building in the multi-storey car park. Local supermarket very close too. Great."

"Always enjoy staying at any James Place properties, never had a complaint to make. Clean, comfy, great decor, staff are always friendly and helpful. Just splendid!"

"I'm sure I could have given 5 stars for everything had we been able to stay. Never received check-in information and Stayright couldn't confirm our booking even though I emailed receipts of payment and booking details from Wotif. Said problem had something to do with booking through Wotif. Took 3 hours to reach a solution which in the end was finding us another property to stay in. That part we were extremely grateful for, but the whole process was extremely stressful."

"We didn’t like the fact that there was no one on site to talk to. We didn’t get fresh towels even though we stayed for 6 nights. The TV in the bedroom was broken and some of the cutlery was dirty. At the end of the stay we had to take all our rubbish to bins at the end of the street. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone."

Upon arriving with my family, I was astonished that this property is listed, especially given the condition of the surrounding area. There were garbage bags placed outside the entrance, emitting an unpleasant odor. It is unsafe for families with children to stay in such an environment.
