The building itself is beautiful and the location is great, especially during Las Fallas. However, we were disappointed with the stay and will not be coming back.
Our room really needed a proper clean. The bed and towels were clean, but the floors and walls, especially in the bathroom, had visible built-up dirt.
We stayed in a standard double room with bathroom, and the windows did not lead outside. There was no main light either, so the room was very dark all day. While this helped with noise during Las Fallas, the room felt quite depressing, and it was impossible to do makeup properly as the bathroom lighting was also poor.
The room was also very noisy from neighbours and other guests. This may be due to the type of building, but it was hard to sleep whenever people in nearby rooms were moving around.
There were no basic amenities, no fridge, no kettle, no safe, and no proper wardrobe, just a very basic clothes rack. Overall, the room felt mis-sold and far more stripped-back than expected.
We did not see any staff during our stay. Communication over WhatsApp was pleasant.
The positives were the good location and the strong water pressure in the shower.
In short: a great building and location, but the room itself was not up to standard.
