"The hotel is very convenient when travelling across Europe as it is next to the motorway and easy to find. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the restaurant is excellent."
"The hotel is excellent. The room was very good with a comfortable bed and breakfast is amazing. The only downside is that the bus does not run at the weekend so it is a 15 min walk to the tram stop at the hospital."
"Fantastic location within easy walking distance of the centre. Hotel staff so friendly and helpful and with the amazing decor of the hotel, it felt like 'home' immediately. Comfortable and with excellent breakfast too. Such a wonderful stay. Thanks so much."
"Staff were helpful and friendly. The room we had in the old building was comfortable with a view over the canal. Breakfast was fresh and inviting we would stay again as it was very reasonable priced "
"Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel.
Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "
"Lovely staff, very helpful. Parking available at small charge. Small rooms however clean. Available meals are plus side, only minus is it's at spiral access road that is not marked too clear."
