The pros: quiet location near Accademia bridge, clean and modern facilities, excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The cons: we got a superior canal-facing room and it was tiny. I mean tiny, even compared to Italian standards. There was no place to even put our luggage — we had to store luggage underneath the bed. Also, the layout of the room wasn’t ideal. There was a strange step/raised area in the middle of the room with a safety light on either side. The lights were so bright we had to put books in front of them in order to sleep.

Lovely little hotel and even though the rooms are very standard small European style and the bathrooms were incredibly small. Everything was very nice and nicely appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. I actually like the location being a little bit off the beaten path so we were not in the heart of all of the tourist pedestrian traffic

A very nice stay, very satisfied. The breakfast was wonderful and we appreciated that it was served until 10am. Location was great, walking distance to most sites without the chaos of San Marco. Highly recommend.
