"Am enchanted place just a few hundred meters outside of Chamonix. The room was big and comfortable, with a very nice terrace. The place was incredibly silent and immersed in the forest, nearby a roaring river. "
"A great property about 15 minutes outside of Chamonix. A grocery store and excellent bakery within a one minute walk. The hotel staff was excellent, the place was super clean, and the atmosphere was very nice. You also had use of saunas and steam rooms. We would definitely stay again."
"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day.
This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
"We stayed for 1 night with with 2 children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have a double bed, 1 twin and a pullout couch in the room. It was perfect. The views are amazing, despite the weather being rainy and cloudy when we got there, we were pleased to wake up to sunshine and seeing the mountains around. There are a few hiking trails around. Breakfast was great with a variety of breads and meats and yogurt. There really isnt anythinf bad to say about this place. Had its own rustic...
"Our stay was very good, and we’d come again. Staff all very helpful. Food is good. Slightly more choice and pizza available every night would suit us better, but we still enjoyed what we ate. The rooms and general aesthetic of the hotel have a nice retro vibe. It’s quirky, fun and interesting. Big open dining, lounge, bar, reception and games area is cozy and laid-back. Enjoyed free pool table and arcade machines especially. Pool and sauna handy too. Some buses at useful times go to and...
"The hotel was situated in a perfect spot, we went in August, and the place is walkable across town. The hotel was nice and welcoming.
Very nice atmosphere in the evenings, with the entertainment dances, kids loved it.
Overall the food was good too.
Would love to come back in the winter, can imagine it to be even nicer!"
