Rooms are spacious and warm (November stay). Great staff, nothing was to much trouble. Evening meal & Breakfast bap wasn’t great. stayed previously and food has always been good. Only recommendation I would give, the rooms are getting tired and could do with modernising, On saying that the beds are comfortable and considering the mix of clientele, Couples, Families, Contractors there was no noise and a good nights sleep.

Friendly and relaxed stay

We were a bit late arriving but nevertheless received a warm welcome. Breakfasts were excellent and the hotel was conveniently located for a sports event which were attending. Looking forward to staying there again.

Wonderful staff.

Nice comfortable room. It was very warm and whilst there was no aircon there was at least a fan in the room. Breakfast was good, Sunday Roast was plentiful and reasonably priced. Good selection of drinks in the bar. Above all though the saff were all lovely. Will definitely stay again if in this aeea.

Night away for a group of couples

Fantastic sleep, perfect for what we paid/needed, the only complaint was that the full English breakfast wasn't the best (just no real flavour/seasoning, no one in the group finished theirs) but great room slept like a log even though we were the first room on the ground floor, pub attached is great, staff were excellent
