"The hotel was perfectly situated in the mountains and gave a stunning view of the landscape. The family apartment was clean, spacious, and nicely renovated to allow for all the amenities we could need including a full kitchen with an oven, stove, microwave, and full-sized fridge. We also used the washer/dryer every single day and went home with all clean clothes. "The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "

"Fire alarms were set off approximately 11:30pm. Unfortunately after an international flight this was very intrusive. The alarms continued to sound on and off for the better part of an hour with no clear understanding from the team as to how to get them under control. We ultimately left in the middle of the night to find another hotel, as my son was concerned the alarms would continue to sound and could not get back to sleep."

I stayed at 3 hotels while in Iceland and this one was the only one that was terrible. Side notes that aren’t negative against the hotel, just information: There is no elevator so you have to drag your luggage up the steps. There is no parking available on site so you have to find street parking. There is no TV in the room if...
