"Fun place to stay with great kitchen for preparing meals. Some issues regarding wheelchair access- there is a step to enter the building and then a large threshold at the doorway. There is another doorway to enter, but it needs to be opened by staff from the inside (this door also had a small lip). It would be great if this could become the main entrance. The main lounge and bar area can only be accessed via a large step- would be great if the owners could add a ramp to this area. The room was...

"It was a great stay. I enjoyed it. The place was upbeat, clean and the amenities were generally available. I would have liked them to stock up on toilet paper and paper towels in the kitchen more frequently and provided more spray for the kitchen tables. I was there for 5 days and twice i had to switch bathrooms to go to one that had bathroom tissue. There is a restaurant right next to the hostel, it’s also near to buses and not a far walk to downtown Reykjavik. Definitely not a bad stay"
