"Parking really difficult"

"Absolutely loved the Blue Boar, had a courtyard ground floor room, bar and seating areas are great. Breakfast was first class. Brilliant on site parking. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again 🙂"

"The breakfast was very nice but what let this place down was. the following. The continental breakfast wasn't included! Room was very clean. The bathroom was up two steps, which felt weird and the shower area had black mould on a couple of tiles. The floor was extremely uneven, it made us feel like we were on a ship that was listing! The bed was so hard, it felt like we were sleeping on a board. There was a hole in the floorboards covered up with carpet."

"Beautiful setting , not too far from home but we wanted to escape the beach crowds from home and it was very peaceful at the hotel. Had an overcharge issue with drinks bill but have been told it’s being dealt with. Special Thankyou to Abby for her help."

"I liked the convenience of where it was and where I wanted to be. The size of the bed was very spacious and comfortable. The room was very dated and had wallpaper hanging off the wall, the bathroom sink surface was all chipped off and made it look scruffy. There were a number of moths in the room too."

"Specifically booked this hotel because of the heat and the website stating air conditioning in every room. Air conditioning did not work, reported to front desk but they said they couldn't do anything and it was probably because everyone had it on. 26° inside, really bad nights sleep. Don't advertise something you aren't going to make adequate provision for."

"We booked a last minute break as the weather was expected to be great and this little hotel and pub turned out to be every bit as good as the weather. The room was quite compact but equally very comfortable, and had the benefit of a balcony over looking the estuary and boat yard. The afternoon entertainment in the garden was really good as was the fresh fish, prawns and oysters served from the garden bar. The pub was especially busy due the sizzling bank holiday weather but all the bar and...
