"We have stayed here for the 3rd time. It is a very relaxed place & a great stopover on our way to the Plymouth ferry to Spain. The bedroom was very spacious with a great en suite featuring a walk in shower. Our dinner in the restaurant was very good with generous portions. Breakfast the following morning was delicious, with a great choice. The staff were very friendly . We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit"

"This place wasn’t what we hoped for so we didn’t stay. The room was not as big as it seemed on photos, no room to put our suitcases out. Room was dated and doors opened out onto parking lot. Very dark, no lights outside and muddy from a water main break. To make matters worse, a policeman knocked on door to say there had been an armed robbery nearby and offender was seen nearby. Very scary and unnerving. We decided we couldn’t stay and found another hotel. Swan House were not willing to refund....

"Excellent hotel Well located Great breakfast and evening meals Good communal lounge areas Quirky specious room (double) Only downside was that we found the room very warm,(we had a couple of warm April days) there was a fan it didn’t really cool the room, just glad it wasn’t peak Summer. Limited parking onsite 4 spaces, but enough on street parking so no issue. Enjoyable stay overall."

"A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks "

"Exceptional B&B in Beautiful English Countryside We were looking for a scenic place to rest up after our overnight flight to the UK from the USA and found this amazing place. Located in a beautiful, rural area with plenty to see and experience nearby. The property is stunning and very well-maintained. John and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. "We were a group of 3 couples. All of us loved The Old Brewhouse. Such friendly staff, impeccably clean everywhere, amazing breakfasts. Parking for 5 inside and 5 designated spaces at side of property. 2 minute walk into centre. Courtyard is beautifully maintained with a very clear netted pond full of lovely koi and goldfish. 2 of our group asked the owner if they did black pudding at breakfast (which wasn’t on the menu) but it was bought in for them. So attentive, made to feel very welcome....
