"Negative points Broken bathroom fittings. Tired hotel. Dark rooms with musty smell. This hotel needs a refurbishment. Taps need to be combined. Carpets needs replacing. Good points are helpful staff.. Friendly.. Gave us extra pillows. Quiet and peaceful. Rooms are good sized. "

"Room were clean and tidy, staff were very welcoming & attentive. There was plenty of car parking. There were tea & coffee facilities in the room. We were able to order breakfast easily and it was freshly cooked and very nice. Overall a lovely over night stay"

"Booked in early January, some hours later, on the same day, messaged hotel asking for a cancellation, because I realised that possibly I wouldn't be able to make these dates or even the city due to personal circumstances. Even with more than one month in advance, the hotel refused to cancel and refund the booking; We were a big group, booked 3 different rooms; we paid different £ for the rooms, but got exactly the same room size/ layout and facilities. "I arrived just before 6pm to find my room wasn’t ready, so I waited in the bar. When I finally got in, the room was okay but lacked basic in‑room amenities—there were no cups or kettle, as these are kept in a separate kitchen, which was sparsely stocked. Although I knew the bathroom was shared, I was surprised there was no sink in the room. There were also cobwebs that hadn’t been cleaned, and the door didn’t feel secure; it kept banging in the wind overnight until I wedged it shut. Breakfast...

Family room.was okay, good size, hiwver the bathroom was old and bath didnt look very clean, toliet was hard to flush, but overall a great stay and would recommend."
