"All staff are so friendly, room was cosy and clean with a very comfortable bed. Had a great sleep. Great selection for breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Would reccommend."

"It worked for an overnight stop and certainly a friendly greeting, with a good intro to the area and amenities. Room was okay and breakfast very good being personally delivered to your room. Only downside is if you have a bit of a phobia about cleanliness thus may not be the place for you, otherwise all okay for us. "

"Very nice hotel, center of town, welcoming staff and the food was very good. Floors are a bit creaky due to buildings age. Thurso seems to be a stop for people going on to Orkney, but if i needed a base to see Caithness, i would stay at the Pentland. Single room reasonably priced."

"Parking at the back was full, but there is a municipal free parking just accross the road. The breakfast was magnificent. Room was comfortable. Mattress and Duvet are of great quality. Recommended."
