"Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

"Property itself and the staff were excellent. Spotlessly clean, even had its own kitchen area, so more like a studio flat. Breakfast was great, and super friendly lady who manages the property and also cooks. The only very minor point that anyone could possibly mention was our bathroom floor had obviously at some time had a leak/flood and the was minor lifting of a couple of the edges of the laminate flooring, BUT nothing serious or to be concerned about. "A lovely quiet location with friendly staff and great service. We were in the loft room (Room 6) which was lovely and cosy and the air con addition was really nice and mad either very cool when it got a little warm. Only thing to note is that there is no stand up shower in this room, we absolutely loved the huge tub and was super nice to have a bubble bath in there and there is a hand held shower head but if you like a stand up shower or have mobility issues this room might not be for you.
