Yachats State Recreation Area

The rugged and awesomely beautiful coastline of Oregon from Yachats. It's much emptier in winter, and although you won't see whales at this time of year, you do get sea lions body surfing to the high and crazy incoming tides.

Popular places to visit

Cape Perpetua is a place full of surprises, one being Devils Churn. The other places to look out for in the area are Cook's Chasm, and Thor's Well. It looks best during the high tide.
