Oriental Hotel Tokyo Bay

10/10 Excellent

"Perfectly located for Disney, just one stop away on the train and the hotel is literally next to the train station so it’s great for travel all over Tokyo! The free snacks and drinks of an evening were a god send, with little kids all you need is a quick beer and they have free reign over candy floss, fresh pancakes and a sweet station - it was ideal. The restaurant was very expensive (about £50 for 2 adults and 1 child) so I’d recommend Komeda Coffee just by the train station - buy a coffee and you get a free mini breakfast! I’ve heard a lot of people complain about small rooms, we had 4 in ours and it was small but it was perfectly functional. Nice in room touches are hairdryer, shoe dryer, foot massager. Closet space is tiny but loads of room under the beds for cases. Theres a 24hour Lawsons onsite (think Tesco express). If you want Tokyo Bay for Disney but want to avoid the extra cost of a Disney hotel this is perfect! It’s also smack bang on top of a very large shopping complex, with super markets, food courts, pharmacy and dozens of clothes stores. Plus a few parks close by! Honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough, great staff, clean modern rooms, great location."

Hilton Tokyo Bay

10/10 Excellent

"3 night stay in an large executive ocean view room on the 11th (top) floor while visiting Tokyo Disney and DisneySea - great view. The room was spacious, modern and generally well appointed. Large, comfortable bed, good/accessible lighting controls, electrical outlets and USB charging ports. Nespresso coffee maker with regular AND decaff pods (important to us). Also hot water maker with tea/instant coffee. Bathroom was standard - a bit disappointing - after traveling through Japan with may hotels providing separate WC for toilet (always with bidet features in Japan) and a separate walk in shower/tub room. This room had spacious sink area and standard toilet, shower/tub all together. Good water pressure and clean. Executive lounge was well supplied but cocktail hours were a bit limited. Included breakfast buffet was abundant each morning, and open at 6:30am for those taking off early for the Disney parks. Ate dinner at restaurant one night, reasonable rates, good selection, excellent service. Didn't use pool or gym facilities. Lots of Kids and families - it's Disneyland. Hotel staff were fantastic, gracious and friendly at all times. A real pleasure. Excellent access to Disney monorail Bayside station (5 minute walk, or endless shuttle bus). From there, Disney monorail drops you right at Disney or DisneySea entrances. Finally, easy limo bus service direct from hotel to Narita airport. Reserve online, about 1 hr transit. Would certainly stay here again!"
