"Allen lodge was a little piece of heaven with their stunning Matterhornn views, beautiful furnishings, comfortable rooms, and wonderful, kind staff. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and taxi service to and from the train station (available if you stay 2 nights or more). My only gripe is that the WiFi wasn’t very reliable, but cellular service was great so it wasn’t a big problem for us. Would definitely stay again!"

"The property was just as described, incredibly clean, conveniently located, the view was amazing, and contact/payment with the management company was seamless. The property was well appointed with everything you need for a pleasant stay and walkable to everything Zermatt has to offer. The only downside was leading up to the property there are quite a few stairs, so if you are someone with mobility issues this would not be an ideal apartment. For us it was not an issue, and we enjoyed hanging out...

Check in was very simple and the host was very attentive to any requests."

"So, we had to check in at the hotel next door - didn't know that till we read the sign on the door. The hotel is a few blocks from train station through the heart of Zermatt, and some curvy allys to get there. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a shared terrace but it was a little dirty but no big deal. Beds were comfy. Had to borrow hair dryer at front desk - they don't supply them in the room. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We got there early and they have a room to keep your luggage safe and secure that includes a shower! If I ever went again, I'd consider this hotel to stay at un Zermatt! Oh, also included a breakfast that I unfortunately we did not partake in because we had to leave early."
