"the person on reception was very unhelpful-I asked for the number for room service and when I went up to my room I found there was no telephone so how I am I meant to contact reception??
Turned out the lift was not working and my room was on the third floor; had to carry the luggage up to my room myself.
The window in my room had been left open; it turned out there was a bad odour which they were trying to reduce.
Bed was very uncomfortable blanket was thread bear, mattress was thread bear and...

"Very friendly staff and room was in a very good and clean condition. One has to remember that it is above/adjacent to a pub/restaurant and so there some minor issues with outside lights and sounds due the the kitchen fan (which was turned off once the kitchen closed for the night). Also note that the place has no on-site parking but the car park opposite offers space at £4 per day. Well served, British breakfast. Overall, a lovely experience."

"In 50+ years of travelling for business and pleasure this was worst property I have ever seen….i walked away and paid to stay in an another hotel …dirty,cold draughty falling down horrendous inside and appeared to being used almost as a doss house….absolute disgrace that it’s advertised…they lock it up at 11 only one door on a passcode is available …code didn’t work…anyone considering staying here don’t…there were holes in bathroom walls….hot water took an eternity and shower is an accident...

"Rooms were clean and staff were helpful.
Had booked a room with a double bed. It was small - more three quarters size.
Room was also small and the bathroom was tiny.
Noise from other rooms adjacent (light switches being turned on) was more than you would expect, and when taps were run or toilets flushed in adjacent rooms it was very loud.
Cooked breakfast was below par - ingredients seemed to be basic/cheap.
Car parking is tight and easy for your car to be blocked in.
No water supplied to...
