"The B&B was in a good location. It was clean. However, the front desk staff did not know the area and were useless in providing guidance to tourists.
We were asked if we wanted our room cleaned at any point during the stay and we said yes to one day. We reminded them in the morning. The room was never cleaned - no fresh towels, paper, etc. We did not see one cleaning cart during our 3 day visit.
No telephones in the room so you have to go to the front desk for assistance.

"Hotel indicates they have parking, but it’s very limited for the amount of rooms and we were never able to get a spot. There’s a lot of trash outside the hotel as well as old dog poop just sitting outside. The front door was never cleaned up. Inside walls needed to be repainted. "Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. We had no power in the room and bathroom during the night and had to use our phone lights. Reception was unable to provide a solution. Breakfast quality was also disappointing, with very limited options. The only positive experience was the gentleman at reception during breakfast, who was very kind and helpful."

"We absolutely loved it here! We were warmly greeted and quickly shown to our rooms. A quick trip up the stairs later we were greeted to a very comfortable room.
This is a delightful place to stay if you are interested in exploring the isle of Skye. It's a little bit more of a drive than staying on island, but it's more comfortable. The town of Portree feels busy and cramped, and some of the places on Skye are way out of the way.

"Room was clean and staff was helpful in getting a taxi to the airport booked for me. It was more of a transit hotel than I had realized. It is connected to a train station and across the street from the busses. I also wish the door had an additional latch or deadbolt, as a female solo traveler I was uncomfortable not having that."
