"This is a dog and pet friendly hotel. The proprietors couldn't have been kinder and more helpful especially as this was the first time we had taken our 2 dogs to a hotel. Pam even made up biscuit packs for them 2 phone calls received to check which type of room, and we were given a large sea view room for pet comfort! "We liked that it was a traditional, old hotel. Yes it needs a bit of doing up but the facilitates were good, it was well located and alk the staff were polite and attentive to us and each other"

"Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There 4 concerns of why I wouldn’t stay here again. 1. The hill to walk up the hotel is very steep and push a pram up it was painful. 2. The rooms don’t have A/C and get really warm, I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer time. 3. The hotel only has one lift, the door opens and closes very slow and if the hotel is busy you have to wait ages for it.
