"The hotel was nice, everything was clean and in good shape, however after arriving at 7pm and hoping for an early night we were met with an extremely loud FUN FAIR parked RIGHT in front of the hotel with no prior warning from reception. We were assured it would be shut down by 10pm and it was, however, they then spent 2 hours breaking the whole thing down and were banging and clanging until midnight. Then the street sweepers arrived bright and early around 6am to clean up after them. Not a very...

"We booked to stay at this hotel for 2 nights, we arrived on Friday afternoon and were shown ir room. I had booked a garden room (rooms away from the main building) which I soon realised had been very strategically photographed. The room was big but very dated but we didn’t mind as we would be at a wedding rehearsal that evening and the wedding the next day so little time spent in the room. On initial view I noticed the carpet was really dirty and there was no toilet roll, the member of staff at...

"I found this pub when looking for a room with a hot tub for one night away. It’s in a very quiet place with nice scenery. We received a very warm welcome from friendly, pleasant staff. We found all staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. Towels, robes, fan, tea and coffee making facility, secluded garden which was not overlooked and a hot tub. The bed was very comfortable. Food was cooked to order and very tasty....

"I wanted to know if they could give me a room with a shower tray. No reply. I needed to cancel due to illness and then neither I could get hold of them. As a result I had to pay for a hotel I could not use. Expedia were unable to sort out this issue. Such poor communication means I will not use this hotel ever. I also am disappointed Expedia could not get the hotel to agree to basic customer service like being responsive to customer enquiries"
