"Myself and a friend were in Bath for one night as part of a golf trip. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Had a nice cold pint on tap before heading up to our twin room for a very hot shower and then heading out for a night out in Bath. The room including the bedding and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The beds and pillows perfect. I think the mattress may be more comfortable than my own. We were going to get breakfast but it was exceptionally busy at 9am so chose not to. The...

"Weekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over "

"The hotel had a restaurant which provided breakfast in our stay. You could also choose to have lunch and dinner. There was a bar within the facility. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The manager managed to keep us in the same room without being moved to another which was very accommodating, as we stayed for two nights. "

"The hotel is beautiful Victorean property. The location is idyllic between the hills. The only issue was the narrow entrance and the lack of parking due to the tour buses the used 4 parking spots. Other than that, the hotel was a hit. I would definitely stay again. "

"Great value hotel in Clifton area, walkable to everything and has available parking. Rooms small but comfortable, no AC but even though hot weather when we stayed a fan provided adequate cooling. Very friendly staff and great breakfast."

"The location was great. Staff was very friendly, and the property was beautifully renovated. Elevator was available. Suggestion for improvement: install AC units in rooms on top floors. Our room on the 3rd Fl. already heated up quite well during the day in May. Cool nights and open windows helped but might not be effective during a hot summer. Also, please install a lock box in rooms. I will stay here again. "
