"The unit was very comfortable and very clean and all the amenities that we would need were there. We were very happy with it. As we arrive quite late in the evening we really didn’t get a chance to explore the area but went straight to getting ready for bed. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. Even the food available for breakfast was very healthy and enough for our consumption."

"Although it’s a smaller room with not much space to walk around, it is still charming and cozy, the only exception is the musty smelled pillows. Also, complementary in room coffee would be nice."

"Hotel Gouverneur is a beautiful hotel nested on Charron Island. Lovely walking trails. Deer roaming on the island. The interior is a step back in time of 70’s opulence. This was a great find. I will definitely stay there again. A great midway stop heading to New Brunswick."
