"Compared to other stays in the area we found the Apex to be quite good value for money. Parking was a distance away and a bit expensive and unfortunately the electric vehicle charging was very expensive so that was really the only disappointment of the stay but not really the Apex Hotels fault."

"Very long distances to the rooms. All vehicle chargers broken. Overcrowded, especially at breakfast. Breakfast bacon hard and turned over on itself and cemented to itself. £35 steak tough - no information about how many days hung. Small bowls for cereal, small glasses for orange juice. Good variety of cereals at breakfast. Dining areas always very noisy - loud guffaws and very loud conversations. Guests at dinner in Bermuda shorts. Parking too far away from reception. Staff always helpful. Rooms...

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add.
The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few...

"De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages).
Things I loved:
All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room.
Penhalingon's products in the bathrooms
Plenty of free parking...

"Great location, Great staff and lobby areas, Rooms were great, bathrooms a little tired.
